Fecon is rolling out a new look to its serial number plates. Customers can now scan the QR Code on the plate and immediately be linked to a list of commonly used parts specific to their machine, as well as contact information for Fecon.
A QR Code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone.
The new plates are mounted on the outside of the mulcher body for easier access and will now feature a QR Code unique to each mulcher.
These plates will come standard on most Bull Hog models.
Customers will benefit in having this information available so easily, including reduced downtime and increased productivity. This also will enable second and third owners of the machines to access the same information as the original owner, when often-time manuals are not passed along.
“Fecon is committed to improving our customer’s experience. We believe customers will find this a useful tool as we strive to keep our customers informed and educated on their Bull Hogs and give them the information they need right at their fingertips,” Fecon said in a recent press release.
