Jeff Merle, vice president machine sales of Foley Inc., announced that Warren Gonzalez has been promoted to the position of heavy construction account manager, and Bill Vanscoy has been hired as a rental services account manager.

Gonzalez arrived at Foley with 10 years of Caterpillar experience. He began his career at Carter Machinery, the Cat dealer located in Virginia. There he held positions throughout the company including customer support representative, rental representative and light construction sales representative. Gonzalez then transferred to H.O. Penn, the Cat dealer located in New York where he specialized in light construction equipment.

Gonzalez joined Foley in 2003 as a compact construction equipment (CCE) sales consultant. His new territory will cover Essex and Passaic counties. In his new role, Gonzalez will leverage his knowledge of equipment and the construction business to match Foley products and services with custom needs.

Vanscoy was first employed at United Rentals as a rental coordinator and was promoted to outside sales representative. He then worked for another Caterpillar dealer for five-and-a-half years as a rental/CCE sales representative.

His new territory will include Mercer, Somerset and Hunterdon counties where he will heighten awareness of the full range of products Foley Rents offers to maximize his customers’ productivity.

Foley Rents is an authorized dealer/distributor for rentals, sales, service and parts for Caterpillar and other rental equipment.

Foley Inc. is the Caterpillar dealer in North Jersey, Staten Island and Bermuda.
