Foley Equipment Company is starting a $20 million expansion of its company headquarters in Wichita, Kan. Foley held a ceremonial groundbreaking May 3 on the site of one of the new buildings.

The new buildings will add more than 160,000 sq. ft. (14,864 sq m) of offices, parts warehouse, service shops and equipment wash and lube bays to the 30-plus acre Foley campus.

Foley Equipment is a third generation, family-run Cat dealer with dealerships in Kansas and 40 counties in western Missouri, including the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Founded in Wichita in 1940 as Foley Tractor Company, the company celebrated 75 years in 2015 and has operated out of the Wichita facility at 1550 S. West St. for approximately 65 years.
