Foley Equipment Company added Lance Bryson as product support representative, Brad Klassen as agriculture sales representative and Neal Rohrke as general line sales manager.

In the product support role, Bryson will serve as a consultant for the customer. He will help Foley clients to determine ways to lower the ownership and operating costs of their equipment.

Bryson is responsible for a coverage area which includes Sedgwick, Sumner, Chautauqua and Cowley Counties. The Product Support Department at Foley has grown into a team of seven people throughout our territory.

“I love going out, talking with the customers and helping them solve their problems,” Bryson said.

Bryson previously was employed at Foley for four years where he worked in the equipment shop and track room. Then, he worked at Cornejo and Sons Construction for two years as a fleet manager. Finally, Bryson spent time working as a track vehicle recovery team chief at Fort Carson before coming to Foley.

“The benefit of the position Bryson filled is that we are able to build better relationships and truly focus on our customers,” Jon Robinson, vice president of product support, said.

Klassen worked at Foley in the parts department. As Foley expands its focus on agricultural sales, Klassen will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in his four county area that includes Butler, Marion, Harvey and McPherson.

After partially owning a large farm operation called Weber Farms for 12 years and a large farm and feed store called Chilsom Trail Country Store for four years, Klassen will bring his knowledge from that experience. Growing up, Klassen also was involved in FFA and 4-H club. In addition to his strong farming experience, Klassen has 16 years of military experience in the Kansas National Guard.

“The best part of my job is building relationships with my customers and learning something new every day,” Klassen said. “Customer service is always the most important thing in my eyes and it is a great feeling to be able to meet the needs of each operation.”

Rohrke has more than 32 years of experience in the field of Caterpillar equipment. In 1975, he joined Nebraska Machinery Company, a Caterpillar dealership, formerly Missouri Valley Machinery. He continued working for them until he recently accepted the general line sales manager position at Foley.

Rohrke worked in the sales department for 16 years at Nebraska Machinery before becoming the store manager in Lincoln. In 2003, he relocated to Omaha and became the general line sales manager where he remained until joining Foley.

“Foley is a great company and a great place to work with a lot of opportunity for the future,” Rohrke said.

“Rohrke comes to us with experience in three extremely important areas: equipment construction, field sales management and extensive experience with Caterpillar,” Vice President of Sales Shane Ham said. “With Rohrke on our team, we are really going to be able to focus on the additional development of our sales representatives. This will give Foley the opportunity to increase our coverage and depth of services that we offer to our customers.”
