Mike Kubas, vice president of Foley Power Systems, announced changes to the Foley Power Systems division, including the promotion of Pat Buckley to engineering services manager in the engineering department and the transfer of Judy Lahrman to customer support agreement account representative in the product support department. Additionally, Sean Fallon has joined the Power Systems sales department as an inside sales engineer.

Prior to joining Foley in 2005, Buckley was the general manager of substation operations at Consolidated Edison of N.Y. In his role as engineering services manager, reporting to Kubas, Buckley will be responsible for project management, order administration and engineering support for new engine sales projects in the Electric Power, Marine and Industrial engine markets.

“I am confident that Pat’s educational background and work experience will be a tremendous asset to the Power Systems Division,” Kubas said.

Lahrman first came to Foley in 2000 as an administrative assistant for Foley’s machinery sales department. Since then, she has held the position of machinery sales coordinator and Foley Rents account manager, before coming over to the power systems division. As power systems customer support agreement account representative, Lahrman will be responsible for growing power systems product support as it relates to customer support agreements. While reporting to Tom Domotorffy, power systems product support sales manager, she will be calling on all customers within Foley’s territory.

“Judy’s sales experience as a rental account manager has given her a diverse knowledge of the Caterpillar products and our customers. I am confident that her expertise, knowledge and versatility will be an asset to the power systems division,” Domotorffy said.

Fallon started his career as a technician in the Navy, working on F-14 fighter jets while serving in the Persian Gulf War. After his military career, Fallon began working at W.W. Grainger where he was responsible for quoting and selling a vast array of electrical and mechanical components. In early 2007, he joined ISO, a Caterpillar paralleling switchgear manufacturer located in Alpharetta, Ga. While employed by Caterpillar, Sean was responsible for quoting Caterpillar automatic transfer switches to the Cat dealer network.

As an inside sales engineer, reporting to power systems sales manager Joe Amabile, Fallon will be responsible for providing technical sales support to the outside electric power generation account managers. He also will have responsibility for reviewing project specifications and developing comprehensive quotations and proposals for new project opportunities and providing technical support to external customers and engineers on the Caterpillar product.

“Sean’s vast experience in the industry is sure to complement the Sales office, and we believe he will expand our knowledge and capability in providing total systems solutions to our customers,” Amabile said.
