Mike Kubas, vice president of Power Systems of Foley Incorporated, the Caterpillar Dealer in North Jersey, Staten Island, and Bermuda, announced that Aaron Israel has joined the Foley Incorporated organization as emissions specialist.

Israel comes to Foley from BASF Catalysts LLC, formerly Engelhard Corporation, bringing with him eight years of experience in emission solutions engineering and product development. As a research engineer for BASF, Israel performed engine testing and verification on emissions control and reduction technology products.

As emissions specialist, Israel’s role will be to provide emissions regulatory interpretation support to construction, power systems, on-highway and rental services divisions. He also will provide application and engineering support to the sales organization for emissions retrofit solutions to meet local air quality regulations for new and existing engines and equipment.

“With the ever-growing [movement] to reduce pollution in our area by our Federal and State regulatory agencies, our customers are experiencing increased pressure to comply with emissions regulations for new and existing diesel powered engines and equipment. Aaron will play a vital role in providing our customers with emissions reduction solutions to meet these new regulations while continuing to provide the performance and productivity value they expect from Caterpillar products,” Kubas said.
