Foley Inc. Promotes Jones to Technical Communicator, Construction Division

Jon Souliere, general service manager of the construction division at Foley Incorporated announced that Robert Jones has been promoted to technical communicator of the construction division.

Jones started his career at Foley Inc. in 1977 when he was hired as a service technician. After spending two years working in the shop, he began going out on the road as a field service technician in 1979. In 1986, Jones was promoted to construction field service leadman, a position he has held until this recent promotion.

“Bob has been with Foley for more than 30 years now and continues to do an excellent job working with customers and finding solutions to their problems,” Souliere said.

As technical communicator, Jones will be responsible for assisting customers and service staff with problem solving, parts location, general service information and troubleshooting.

Additionally, he will work with Caterpillar regarding equipment upgrades and technological advancements.

“Bob will now bring his technical experience and expertise inside, providing guidance and solutions for both internal and external customers,” said Souliere. “His extensive knowledge will be a great asset to our service team.”
