Barry Sica became the new sales manager of Garden State Bobcat in Freehold, N.J., in December.
Sica spent the past nine-and-a-half years working for JESCO, where he started in sales in southern New Jersey, was promoted to equipment manager and spent the last five of those years as branch manager for the Mount Holly, N.J., location.
The move to Garden State Bobcat was prompted by the right opportunity presenting itself to Sica. In his new position as sales manager of Garden State Bobcat Group, Sica will be using his 25 years of experience to continue the development and education of the sales staff in order for the company to expand and maintain market growth in any economy.
“It’s an exciting time to be working for Garden State Bobcat,” said Sica. “This year is the 25th anniversary for the company and the 50th anniversary for Bobcat. On June 19, 2008 we are having a big celebration and everyone is welcome. There will be giveaways, demo equipment, food, things for the kids to do, everything to create a celebration. Corporate Bobcat will be there with new equipment to show our customers.”
“I would like to thank Bob Woods, president, Garden State Bobcat Group and Rob Woods, vice president, for this opportunity to be with an innovative company and a world wide leader in the compact and utility construction equipment industry and look forward to providing our customers with the same level of customer service they are accustomed to receiving,” said Sica.
