Gehl has introduced an optional lifting hook for select Gehl RS Series telescopic handler models. The lift hook option provides a secure lifting point for transporting suspended loads without the use of an additional attachment.
The lifting hook is mounted on the telescopic handler boom tip and allows placement of loads with or without the standard fork carriage attached to the machine. This attachment has the same lift capacity and load zone ranges as the standard fork and carriage. The lift hook is strategically located as to not interfere with the proper operation of other available attachments. It also can be installed in the field by replacing only one pin.
“Designed to function with or without the fork carriage attached to the machine, the Manitou boom tip lift hook provides a secure attachment point for operating with suspended loads,” said Steve Kiskunas, telescopic handler product manager — Manitou Americas. “This industry-exclusive lift hook offers an easy solution for the transportation of suspended loads, while eliminating the need for additional attachments.”
The boom tip lift hook option is now available as a factory-installed option or field installed option for the Gehl RS6-42, RS8-42, RS8-44, RS10-44, RS10-55 and RS12-42 model telescopic handlers.
