Construction Equipment Guide

General Equipment Company’s GP8/GP8H portable gasoline air ventilation blower is designed to accommodate most confined workspace requirements. The compact GP8/GP8H supplies fresh air around construction sites, removes toxic and noxious atmospheres from confined work spaces, aids in detecting sewer line leaks, and provides fresh air for personnel inside tanks and vaults.

The GP8 is available with a Briggs & Stratton 3.5-hp (2.6 kW), 3,600-rpm engine or with a Honda 3.5-hp, 3,600-rpm engine (GP8H model). The blower housing is fabricated from cast aluminum, for increased resistance to external field damage.

An adjustable governor with manual speed control allows the operator to vary the blower volume as needed. The GP8 weighs just 56 lbs. (25 kg), making it easy to transport around the job site.
