Continuing its emphasis on dealer-driven sales, Genesis Attachments has announced the appointment of Hoffman Equipment, Piscataway, NJ, as its newest authorized Genesis dealer.

The appointment — just the most recent addition to a continually-growing dealer network — is important from both a geographic and strategic standpoint, according to Mark Ramun, Genesis’ director of Business Development.

“In growing this network, we have been looking for dealers that not only know the scrap and demolition markets, but also appreciate the benefits attachments can provide toward growing these markets,” he said. “Hoffman fully supports that concept and has already shown the potential for growth they bring to the network.”

From the dealer’s perspective, taking on the Genesis line provides an opportunity to both reach new customers and improve the abilities of existing ones, according to Mike Anderson, Hoffman Equipment’s vice president of marketing and sales.

“This is an excellent opportunity for us to represent one of the premier lines of hydraulic attachments and complement our existing product offering,” he said. “As an equipment supplier, we have always focused on providing the best in excavators, scrap handlers, loaders and cranes. However, having a line of attachments of Genesis’ caliber will now allow us to make additional inroads with higher-profile contractors who can capitalize on the obvious benefits they provide.”

Hoffman Equipment serves customers in the northern half of New Jersey, the New York City metropolitan area and Long Island.
