Citing his success cultivating sales in the northwest United States and Latin/South America, as well as a broad knowledge of overall operations, Genesis Attachments has named David Palvere as its new director of business development.

Palvere, a 10-year veteran at Genesis, will be responsible for leading and directing new business opportunities for the company, developing international sales efforts, and driving new product and new market development.

“This is an outstanding opportunity for me to contribute to our efforts to grow, diversify and, hopefully, realize a lot of untapped potential,” he said. “I have worn a number of hats in my ten years with the company, but none that has intrigued me or promised to challenge me as much as this one. I am certainly grateful for the confidence shown in me and look forward to getting down to business.”

Palvere’s tenure at Genesis has included ongoing work as northwest regional manager (which he will continue until a suitable replacement is found); efforts as Latin and South American market development manager; product line manager; and point person for Genesis’ excavator/attachment package program.

According to Mats Ceder, Genesis vice president/general manager, the selection of Palvere was based on a number of factors.

“This position calls for an individual who can provide strong leadership and direction in developing new business opportunities,” he said. “David has already demonstrated those strengths over the years. We are certain that he is the right person to tackle this new role as we move forward and make inroads into new markets.”
