Giles & Ransome, a Bensalem, PA-based Caterpillar dealer, recently exhibited at the DelChester Public Works Association 6th Annual Trade Show. The show was held at the Tredyffrin Township Municipal Building.

The trade show attracted more than 250 attendees from throughout Delaware and Chester counties. Attendees were able to tour the indoor booths and outdoor equipment displays of more than 25 vendors. Giles & Ransome’s outdoor equipment display included a Cat 416C-IT backhoe loader and a Cat 226 skid steer. Tom McLaughlin, governmental sales representative, and Rob Neely, product support sales representative, answered questions and inquiries from show attendees on behalf of Giles & Ransome.

“It is extremely important that G and R participate in shows such as DelChester’s. It demonstrates to association members that our company is involved in and concerned about issues that are important to them,” explained McLaughlin. “It gives the municipalities a chance to view improvements and advancements that have been made on the equipment they use, and it allows us, as vendors, to interact directly with the equipment-buying decision makers.”

DelChester Public Works Association was founded in 1992 and represents municipalities in Delaware and Chester counties. The association, which is comprised of municipal and vendor members, meets quarterly and holds its annual trade show in December.
