Gorilla Hammers has acquired the assets of AT Equipment, based in Sutton, Mass., a provider of hydraulic hammer and boom mounted demolition products for 20 years.
AT Equipment, which is known for offering competitive pricing on hydraulic breakers, tools, parts, rentals and sales, was founded by Alex Topolewski, who has more than 35 years of experience working with construction and demolition equipment.
Although the Topolewski family will continue to rent excavators and provide excavation, crushing and demolition services through Mass Site Development, all hydraulic hammer related parts and services will be handled by Gorilla Hydraulic Breakers of Randolph, Mass.
“Once our current breakers are phased out, we will exclusively utilize Gorilla Hydraulic Breakers in our fleet,” said Topelewski.
“Speaking from experience with some of our vendors, customers often are lost in the shuffle during acquisitions,” said Joe Tedesco, president of Gorilla Hammers. “Retaining AT Equipment’s customer base is critical to the success of this venture. Our goal is to provide an enhanced level of service for all of AT Equipment customers while ensuring that customers based in central and western Massachusetts are not inconvenienced by working with our Boston area location.”
To achieve these goals, Gorilla will be enhancing its level of service to all current and prospective customers in Massachusetts to include free pickup and drop off or freight for all retail hydraulic hammer rebuilds and free delivery or freight on all retail demolition tools and hammers. In addition, Nitrogen charge service is available for most hammers at the Boston-area facility
Gorilla, a division of Tech Hydraulics, is a U.S.-based supplier of boom mounted demolition attachments. It specializes in sales and service of hydraulic hammers and heavy demolition tool bits.
