Construction Equipment Guide

The Gorilla Hammers Silverback series hammer is designed for contractors who work with concrete, stone, granite and ledge.

With an enlarged piston for maximum energy, the series has a simplistic design with only two moving parts: the piston and the shuttle valve. Less moving parts leads to less breakage and less maintenance, according to the manufacturer.

The Silverback series fits on machines starting from a skid steer with a 600 ft. lb. hammer to a 100,000 lb. excavator carrying a 14,000 ft. lb. hammer. The series includes the GHB60, 70, 75, 90, 100, 120, 135, 150, 155, 160, 165 and 180.

After assembly, the hammers are field tested and evaluated, including a cycle test, a pound test, an energy output test and a structure test. Lifetime technical assistance is available.
