Great Southern Equipment Raises Money for Wounded Warriors

Great Southern Equipment recently hosted a Fishing for Freedom fishing tournament to help raise funds for wounded warriors. The one day tournament included a day of fishing for local wounded warriors with volunteer local fishing guides, a barbecue dinner, door prizes and a blind auction. The Kobelco excavator with the special wounded warrior paint was on hand.

Coordinators for the project were Tom Marks, Great Southern Construction Equipment; Eric Templeton, Sims Crane & Equipment Co.; Caroline Burkhalter, ADP Inc.; and Billy Leven of the sheriff's office.

Great Southern Equipment and GS Equipment represent Kawasaki loaders, Kobelco excavators, Sakai compaction equipment, Gradall excavators, Terex off-road trucks, Takeuchi mini-excavators and Link-Belt excavators as well as related equipment from their headquarters in Tampa as well as branches in Orlando, Jacksonville, Pompano Beach, and Fort Myers, Fla.
