Groff Tractor & Equipment Inc., of Mechanicsburg PA, recently hired Stacey O'Donnell as its inventory control manager for all the company's product lines at each of its locations.

O'Donnell has 17 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry, working several of those years with another large equipment dealer in Pennsylvania. O'Donnell's responsibilities with Groff include ordering all equipment, working with manufacturers and other dealers to locate inventory, balancing inventory among locations, maintaining current information about inventory in the company's business system and reviewing all manufacturers invoices.

After a brief hiatus from the industry, O'Donnell is excited about her return. "I have a great passion to work in the heavy equipment industry," she said. "I remember driving down the road when I was out of the construction industry and really wondering what equipment was on the job and how it was shipped. After a year being out of this industry, I'm glad Groff gave me the chance."

Jim Price, operations manager of Groff Tractor, is enthusiastic about O'Donnell getting to work for the company. "I am excited to have Stacey join us, and expect her to make a very significant contribution in taking Groff Tractor & Equipment to a higher level of support for our customers," he said. "Our company has grown substantially during the past few years, the number of manufactures we represent has increased, and the complexity and importance of managing our inventory has increased. Stacey will be a critical focal point as we manage these changes."
