Cleveland Crane & Shovel Sales Inc. President Bill Aurelius has added Grove to the company’s line up of cranes and work platforms.

Headquartered in Cleveland, Crane & Shovel Sales Inc. has been a Manitowoc dealer for more than 30 years, placing the company among the oldest in the nation.

“Grove provides our company, Cleveland Crane & Shovel Sales with a product that will expand our customer base. It completes our company’s Manitowoc lineup,” said Bill Aurelius, president of Cleveland Crane & Shovel Sales, adding that it also benefitted Manitowoc because the arrangement places Grove distribution with a dedicated crane house.

Established in 1978, the company’s clients currently include large crane rental companies and large contractors.

Cleveland Crane & Shovel Sales Inc. also is Mantis distributor.

With a vast parts inventory for all its lines, the company has established a reputation for reliably finding and stocking parts — averaging 98 percent on out-of-stock parts.

The company provides 24-hour service 365-days year-round and boasts a fleet of service trucks ready to be dispatched when needed.

“We’re thrilled to have Cleveland Crane & Shovel Sales Inc. pick up the Grove line,” Matt Borchardt, regional business manager of Grove. “They have a recognized and well-established crane house with a strong reputation across the United States. We feel that their addition of Grove is good fit for us and for them.”

Crane & Shovel Sales Inc. serves customers in Ohio, West Virginia and across the midwest.

“Our motto is anywhere, anytime,” said Aurelius.
