GUCA Elects Its 2018-2019 President, Board Members

The Georgia Utility Contractors Association Inc. recently elected Jeff Rowan of Callaway Grading Inc. in Hampton, Ga., as the 2018-2019 GUCA President at the 2018 GUCA Annual Conference in Ponte Vedra, Fla.

Rowan has served on the GUCA Board of Directors as 2013-2014 Director; 2014-2015 Director; 2015-2016 Secretary/Treasurer; 2016-2017 Second Vice President; and 2017-2018 First Vice President. He has served on several GUCA committees including Community Service, Finance, Membership and Safety.

Rowan also will serve with newly elected Officers and Directors that include: First Vice President Joseph Webb of RDJE Inc. in Newnan, Ga.; Second Vice President Michael Corbett of The Corbett Group LLC in Douglasville, Ga.; Treasurer Randall Popham of Blount Construction Co. Inc. in Marietta, Ga.; Secretary Debbie Elliott of Elliott Construction Co. in Suwanee, Ga.; and, Ex-Officio Billy Crump of LaKay Enterprises Inc. in Fort Valley, Ga.

The new Associate Directors elected include Cal Garretson of Waites & Foshee Insurance Inc. in Macon, Ga. and Blake Jones of Yancey Bros. Co. in Austell, Ga.

Directors elected for 2018-2020 include Andrew Culpepper of C.A. Murren & Sons Company Inc. in Grayson, Ga.; Chuck Hucks of Western Summit Constructors Inc. in Norcross, Ga.; Ryan Pounds of Peed Bros. Inc. in Butler, Ga.; Bobby Touhy of Civil Site Services Inc. in Fayetteville, Ga.; and Chad Zeis of Gunter Construction Co. Inc.

Those continuing on the Board as Directors for 2017-2019 include Brian Burleigh of Dennis Taylor & Company Inc. in Duluth, Ga.; Tammy Cawthon of Alan Cawthon Inc. in Jackson, Ga.; Jason Ray of Archer Western Construction LLC; and David Westrick of Ruby-Collins Inc.
