H&E Holds Grand Opening, Celebrates With 220 Attendees

 John Deere had its mobile simulator trailer on hand for the guests to try out. The simulator provides the Ultimate Uptime Advantage for the customer. Bruce Hall of FLSE Inc. in Raleigh, N.C., tries it out as Leo Wambold (L) and Kevin Bortolazzo of John Deere provide instruction.

On April 19, H&E Equipment Services (H&E) held a grand opening of its new Durham, N.C., location.

The new branch is located at 815 Ellis Rd., Durham, N.C., and provides full-service coverage to customers in northeastern North Carolina and the Triangle. The 16,000 sq.-ft. facility sits on two acres with offices, parts warehouse and a repair shop with eight bays. The facility is capable of repairing a variety of general industrial and construction equipment.

The Durham branch specializes in aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, earthmoving and general construction equipment from the following manufacturers: Atlas Copco, Bomag, Club Car, Doosan, Gehl, Grove, Generac, Genie, JLG, John Deere, MEC, Manitowoc, Miller, Multiquip, Skyjack, Wacker and Yanmar, just to name a few.

More than 220 customers, manufacturer representatives, employees and H&E executives attended.

Branch Manager Mark Poole said, “Our grand opening was a great opportunity for us to showcase our products and services and demonstrate our commitment to equipment customers in the Raleigh/Durham area. With the addition of our Durham branch, we provide greater convenience in the area, translating into better service and care for our customers. We are extremely pleased to host this grand opening to show many customers our full-service model of equipment rentals, sales, parts, and service.”
