Hawthorne Cat Raises Over $10,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of San Diego

Hawthorne Cat, the exclusive Cat equipment dealer in San Diego, the Hawaiian Islands and the Pacific Region announced that Team Dozer raised more than $10,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego during the 2019 SoCal Ragnar Relay.

A team of 12 Hawthorne Cat employees participated in the SoCal Ragnar Relay Race on April 12-13, 2019. Together, Team Dozer completed the 200-mile relay race from Huntington Beach to San Diego, Calif., raising $10,270. The check was presented to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego on July 10, 2019, by Chris Giannaris, Hawthorne corporate marketing and strategy manager, and Kirk Fowkes, Hawthorne vice president of human resources.

"All that running went a long way when Hawthorne Cat had the honor to present $10,270 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego," said Giannaris. "Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in this year's relay race. Your contributions will help provide scholarships and opportunities for the youth programs offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego."
