Hawthorne CAT has promoted Jim Serviolo as its new Government/Military business manager. Serviolo has been with Hawthorne for more than 30 years and has held various positions within the company, including his role as general parts manager. Working with Serviolo will be Joe Cornell, who was promoted to business development manager. He has more than twenty years of governmental and military sales and equipment experience. Formerly, Serviolo was Hawthorne’s government business development representative.

Hawthorne is a General Services Administration (GSA) contractor holder. Working with GSA, Hawthorne has been successful in offering the military “non-traditional” services. Working directly with the military and local defense contractors, Hawthorne supplies equipment, rentals, service and local expertise.

Whether it is standard products, modification of existing products, or entirely new products, Caterpillar and Hawthorne are committed to all branches of the military, U.S. federal government agencies, and state and local government customers.

Hawthorne CAT is the authorized dealer of Caterpillar construction and power equipment in San Diego, Hawaii, Guam, Saipan and American Samoa. Hawthorne sells, rents, provides parts and service to various industries including heavy construction, general building construction, earthmoving, excavation, quarry and aggregate, landscaping, marine, paving, waste management, engine power, power generation and grounds maintenance.
