Hitachi will display models from all four major equipment classes: compact excavators, utility excavators, reduced-tail-swing excavators and construction/production class excavators.

Visitors to the Hitachi ConExpo-Con/AGG 2017 booth – #N12525 in the North Hall – March 7 -11 in Las Vegas will discover why owners and operators are “Hitachi To The Core” and how Hitachi equipment helps them make good on jobsite promises to customers every day.

The Hitachi booth, which will be part of John Deere's large North Hall exhibit, will give visitors a chance to get up-close and personal with some of the most efficient, reliable and durable excavators at the show, meet with product experts and preview new technology.

“Hitachi leverages its expertise and legacy of meeting demanding mining applications to deliver efficient, reliable and durable construction equipment,” said Carlos Uriarte, division manager, Hitachi Construction Machinery - Americas. “Hitachi owners experience the benefits of the equipment on a daily basis and are extremely loyal, which served as part of our inspiration for this year's Conexpo theme – 'Hitachi to the Core.'”

Hitachi will display models from all four major equipment classes: compact excavators, utility excavators, reduced-tail-swing excavators and construction/production class excavators. The company will also unveil two, new models that will become available to contractors within the next 12 months.

All of Hitachi's Dash-6 excavators feature Isuzu engines that deliver fuel-efficient and powerful performance, and do not require a diesel particulate filter (DPF). This lowers operating costs and minimizes maintenance time.

Beyond equipment, Hitachi will highlight a number of technology innovations and options designed to help contractors get jobs done while keeping operating costs low. Among them is an enhanced factory-installed grade guidance system for its construction excavators that will complement the company's existing grade reference-ready package.

In addition, the company will introduce a new canopy option on an existing excavator model and formally launch The Herd, a new, exclusive group for Hitachi owners, operators and fans. Hitachi employees from dozens of countries will be on hand during the show, responding to customers' questions and discussing their business needs.
