Michael Gaine has joined Hoffman Equipment as a sales representative of the New York region. He will be responsible for selling earth moving equipment and sweeping products throughout Nassau County. He also will handle a number of strategic accounts.

“We are happy to welcome Michael to Hoffman Equipment,” said Tim Watters, president of Hoffman Equipment. “His previous work experience in equipment sales ensures a rapid transition to our team, and his knowledge of the region allows him to hit the ground running.”

Prior to joining Hoffman, Gaine had more than 15 years of experience with construction equipment sales. He was most recently a territory manager for an auction company. He also has sold John Deere equipment on Long Island.

Headquartered in Piscataway, N.J., Hoffman Equipment has been distributing heavy equipment and cranes in the metropolitan NYC area since 1949. Through its five locations in New York and New Jersey, the company sells and rents Grove, Manitowoc and National Crane products and provides parts and service support for any brand of crane. It also offers construction and road maintenance equipment from Case, LeeBoy, Rosco, Atlas Copco and Gradall in New York, and from JCB, LeeBoy, Rosco, Doosan, Atlas Copco, and Gradall in New Jersey.
