Celebrating the rich history of mechanized agricultural and industrial equipment, Holt Cat is hosting the Antique Caterpillar Machine Owners Club (ACMOC) National Show, showcasing Holt, Caterpillar and other brands of antique construction and farming machines owned by collectors from across the country. This event is a commemoration of the history of industrial innovation.
Collectors of these antique tractors have a great passion for the machines, equipped with tall tales of restoration projects and ongoing searches for these elusive machines and rare barn finds.
Holt Cat proudly celebrates this legacy as the largest Caterpillar dealer in the U.S. whose owners are direct descendants of Benjamin Holt, credited with developing the first successful track-type tractor in 1904. His “Caterpillar” tractor single-handedly changed the industry, and far beyond. His innovation was the inspiration for the development of the British tank in World War I, altering ground warfare tactics and changing the course of history.
