Holt CAT, one of the largest Caterpillar equipment dealers in the United States, announced the appointment of Andrew Blaisdell as service manager for the Irving Truck Shop. Prior to joining Holt CAT, Blaisdell served more than 20 years with the United States Army and was most recently based out of Fort Hood, TX.
“We are very pleased to add Blaisdell to our team,” said Pat Reynolds, Holt CAT Truck Engine business manager. “His experience will be a tremendous asset to our workforce of professionals who are dedicated to providing superior parts and service to Caterpillar diesel truck engines.”
Clinton Petty
Bob Stratton, vice president and general manager of the Holt CAT Power Systems Division, the Caterpillar dealer for south, central, north and east Texas, announced that Clinton Petty has been named to the position of project manager in the San Antonio store.
“We are very pleased to add Petty to our team,” Stratton said. “His experience will be a tremendous asset to our workforce of 1,500 professionals who are dedicated to providing superior products and service to standby power generation, cooling equipment and CAT engine users throughout our territory.”
Prior to being named project manager, he held the position of PSD field service technician in the Waco/Pflugerville store.
Donna Saunders
Donna Saunders has been named service coordinator for the Power Systems Division in Holt’s Irving store.
“We are very pleased to add Saunders to our operational team,” Stratton said. “We are proud to continue our 100-year heritage of providing exceptional service and high quality products.”
Prior to being named Service Coordinator, she held the position of receptionist/operator with Human Resource Partners at Holt CAT since 2001.
Dudley Calhoun
Dudley Calhoun has been named to the position of field service supervisor in the Power Systems Division in the Irving store.
“Calhoun is an asset to our team,” Stratton said. “He will help Holt CAT continue its proud heritage of providing exceptional service and quality equipment for 100 years.”
Prior to being named PSD field service supervisor, he held the position of PSD warranty administrator in the Longview store.
Rene Rojas
Rene Rojas as product support sales representative. Rojas first joined Holt in 1993 as a power systems division service manager.
According to the company, his experience in the engine and construction industries, combined with an uncompromising dedication to customer service will provide leadership for Holt to continue its commitment to the Corpus Christi area.
“I’m excited about the future of Holt Power Systems and about this new opportunity for increased responsibility,” said Rojas. “Our product support team is proud to represent CAT and related high quality products in a company that has a tradition of value and customer service.

Tim Moses
Tim Moses has been named to the position of field service supervisor in the Power Systems Division in the San Antonio store.
“Tim has been a great asset to our team,” Stratton said, “by helping to continue our 100-year heritage of providing exceptional customer service and high quality products.”
Prior to being named field service supervisor, he held the position of Power Systems Division Warranty Administrator in Corpus Christi.
Holt CAT covers 118 Texas counties from the Red River to the Rio Grande. The name Holt has been associated with heavy equipment and Caterpillar for more than 100 years. Holt CEO, Peter M Holt, is the great-grandson of Benjamin Holt, who in 1904 developed the first successful track-type tractor which he named the “Caterpillar.”
In 1952 Ben Holt’s company, the Holt Manufacturing Co., merged with Best Tractor to form Caterpillar Tractor Co., which is known today as Caterpillar Inc.
In 1933 Ben Holt’s son, William K. Holt, established a CAT dealership in San Antonio to serve central and south Texas.
