Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas announced the expanded dealership territory of Taylor Construction Equipment to include portions of Indiana and Ohio. Taylor Construction Equipment, a division of the Taylor Group of Companies, Louisville, Miss., joined the Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas dealer network in 2021, representing Hyundai from locations in Mississippi and Tennessee.

In addition to its original territory, Taylor now operates as a full-line Hyundai Construction Equipment dealership serving the southwestern third of Ohio and the southeastern third of Indiana. Its Ohio territory encompasses 34 counties including the Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton metropolitan regions. Its Indiana territory comprises 39 counties, including the Indianapolis metro region, Bloomington, Columbus and the northern suburbs of Louisville, Ky.

Taylor will begin serving this territory from facilities in Cleves, Ohio (Cincinnati area) and Indianapolis. It plans further expansion in the Columbus, Ohio, metro area.

"Taylor Construction Equipment is excited to expand our relationship with Hyundai into additional states," said Tim Gerbus, sales manager, Taylor Construction Equipment.

"We've had great success with Hyundai, and our customers are well pleased with the fuel efficiency, ease of operation, dependability and productivity of all their Hyundai machines."

Gerbus also said Hyundai's best-in-industry equipment warranty and the supportive, collaborative team of professionals at Hyundai contribute to Taylor's confidence in sustaining long-term success as a Hyundai dealership.

"Hyundai and Taylor Construction Equipment already have built a great relationship in less than two years," said Ed Harseim, North Central district manager of Hyundai. "We offer customers a combination that's tough to beat — Taylor's longstanding leadership in selling and servicing heavy equipment, plus the equipment, support and financial services of Hyundai."

For more than 95 years, Taylor has provided its customers with the highest quality heavy equipment, parts and service support. Taylor offers its customers unmatched product support capabilities, with its 29 Taylor Sudden Service Inc. (SSI) locations throughout the Southeastern and South-Central regions, more than 350 mechanics and a service fleet of more than 250 trucks.

Including the expansion of Taylor Construction Equipment, the Hyundai North American dealer network now comprises more than 80 dealerships operating in nearly 200 locations, offering sales, service and parts. Hyundai delivers regular product and service training to ensure dealer partners are able to provide top-caliber support to meet the growing business needs of Hyundai Construction Equipment customers.
