In late October, Hyundai dealers from all across North America converged on the headquarters of Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. in Norcross, Ga., for Heavy Metal Training. The program is a two-day training event for continuing education for Hyundai dealers and their sales and service representatives.

Day one consisted of a jam-packed day of learning sales trends, product application and key machine features on the entire line of Hyundai compaction rollers, compact excavators, HX series excavators, HL series wheel loaders and breakers. Finance training and team building exercises also were a part of the overall experience, as well as headquarters tours and parts warehouse walk-arounds.

On day two, dealers and Hyundai personnel were transported to a dig-demo site on the property of picturesque Silver City Farm in Cumming, Ga. Various stations with select machines out of the full Hyundai lineup were set up for enhanced operation and machine evaluation and presentation with the Hyundai machine specialists. There also were machines equipped with unique attachments from companies such as Werk Brau and engcon.

Dinner and musical entertainment at the Silver City Saloon on the site of the farm wrapped up a fun-filled and rigorous two days of training. CEG
