Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. recently displayed their newest diesel forklift models, the 250D-9, 70D-7A and 45D-9A. Each of these machines incorporates power and efficiency with durability and safety, a necessary combination for completing the job. These models are capable of handling even the toughest applications in the container handling, timber, lumber, concrete and steel industries.

Hyundai’s new diesel forklift models are smooth running, efficient and ergonomically designed to be masters on the job site. A fully automatic transmission offers operators easy, convenient handling and soft, smooth shifting. A large capacity hydraulic system reacts quickly during operation and a low noise control valve increases both efficiency and durability. Operators can quickly lower and raise the mast, as well as tilt it forward and backward, providing the best operational conditions during unloading. When the truck is fully loaded, mast lowering speed is carefully controlled to ensure safety by the down control valve. A powerful, high-output engine provides greater acceleration, better gradeability and faster travel speed on any tough terrain or slope, according to the manufacturer.

Hyundai’s 85,627 lb. (38,840 kg) 250D-9 forklift is equipped with a 275 hp (205 kW), Cummins QSL Tier IV Final engine, an extended mast height of 229.5 in. (583 cm) and a rated load capacity of 55,115 lbs. (25,000 kg).

The 22,013 lb. (9,985 kg) 70D-7A model boasts a 107 hp (79 kW) Interim Tier IV Kubota V3800 engine, an extended mast height of 168.3 in. (427 cm) and a rated load capacity of 15,432 lbs. (7,000 kg).

Hyundai’s 15,119 lb. (6,858 kg) 45D-9A forklift features a fuel efficient, 94 hp (70.2 kW), Interim Tier IV Kubota V3800 engine, an extended mast height of 166.7 in. (423 cm) and a rated load capacity of 9,921 lbs. (4,500 kg).

In addition to providing power and fuel efficiency, Hyundai’s new diesel forklifts offer comfort and usability. All three models are equipped with operator-friendly gauges and a water- resistant monitor panel, as well as an easily adjustable suspension seat for superior comfort and safety. Other standard features to maximize ease of use and comfort are a centralized instrument switch panel, MP3/CD player and remote control, quick response operating control levers, ergonomically positioned pedals and an adjustable steering column.

Safety and durability remained top priorities for each of these Hyundai forklift models. These highly durable machines have a carriage manufactured entirely with rugged, high tensile structural steel. Hyundai’s 250D-9, 70D-7A and 45D-9A diesel forklift models also feature an operator presence sensing system (OPSS), which allows mast tilting, lifting and lowering only when the operator is in the normal position for added safety.

To minimize downtime and ensure easy access and convenient maintenance, each of these Hyundai forklift models feature a centralized design with easy access to critical machine components. All three models are equipped with an easy change air filter with sensor alerts for clogging, a cabin air fresh filter, a compact fuse box for easy inspection, an automatic self-locking gas spring, a large tool box, a pressure gauge port and an easy maintenance oil check, all of which make maintenance quick and easy.

Hyundai forklift offers quality, high-performance material-handling equipment, including electric, diesel, internal combustion cushion and internal combustion pneumatic forklifts.

With Hyundai’s North American headquarters and parts depot in Norcross, Ga., both dealers and customers are consistently provided with quick fulfillment on all orders.
