Illinois Assoc. of Aggregate Producers Members Gather

Wed October 16, 2019 - Midwest Edition #21
IAPP

A beautiful day welcomed 166 golfers to the Sept. 9 Golf Outing held at WeaverRidge and Coyote Creek golf clubs in Peoria, Ill. Due to the strong support of everyone attending, this outing raised $9,960 for the IAAP Political Action Committee. PIE Committee members sold 50/50 raffle tickets raising $1,010 for the IAAP's Rocks, Minerals and Mining Workshop for Illinois teachers.

The golf outing offers a unique opportunity to have fun and visit with friends in the industry. Using a scramble format, the event proved to be highly-competitive once again and in a first for this year, interactive hole sponsors added another layer of competition for WeaverRidge golfers.

In addition to golf, a delicious meal at the end of the day concluded with recognition for the best scores and outstanding players at both courses, numerous door prizes and the 50/50 raffle drawing, which was claimed by Steve Nelson of Tri-Con Materials.

Everyone agreed it was a really fine day to be playing at a new venue.
