Indeco North America, a provider of heavy-duty hydraulic breakers, compactors, crushers and pedestal booms for demanding demolition, mining, recycling and road construction applications, introduced its ISS 35/60 steel shear product.

Effectively rounding out the company’s popular ISS steel shear product line for the scrap and recycling industry, the Indeco ISS 35/60 steel shears feature a dual-profile piercing tip, four reversible, interchangeable main cutting blades, an extremely wide jaw opening and continuous 360 degree rotation. It is positioned to satisfy increased customer demand for a shear that can be used with a 35-ton (31.7 t) excavator as a second member or for a 60-ton (54 t) carrier as a demolition attachment.

“We’re very excited to be able to offer our customers this latest addition to our performance-proven ISS line of steel shears,” said Mike Fischer, president and chief executive officer of Indeco North America (INA). “This new addition, with its unique jaw geometry and increased power, provides an extremely cost-effective alternative for heavy-duty scrap and recycling applications and makes our steel shear portfolio one of the most comprehensive in the industry.”

INA director of marketing Ryan Murphy added, “Indeco North America is proud to continue to support our scrap and recycling customers with innovative technology solutions for their most demanding projects. This latest product offering reflects our ongoing commitment to technological innovations that exceed our customers’ expectations today and in the future.”

The new ISS 35/60 is the culmination of more than 20 years of engineering and manufacturing expertise. It combines all of the market-recognized features of the ISS product line including a special HARDOX main body frame, an integrated regeneration valve which accelerates no-load movement of the jaw; a pivot group which prevents the jaws from buckling; and a large, powerful hydraulic cylinder with long-lasting seals that can withstand more than 10,000 psi of pressure. Its design readily accommodates a broad range of carriers, according to the manufacturer.
