For the fifth year in a row, the mikeroweWORKS Foundation is accepting applications for its Work Ethic Scholarship program.

“Work Ethic Scholarships are for people who are hungry to learn a skill that's in demand—it's for the people who wake up early, stay late and bust their butt day in and day out,” said the mikeroweWORKS Foundation.

Scholarship applications are due June 4, 2018, so there is still time to get yours in.

Here is what the application requires:

  • Signing of the S.W.E.A.T Pledge (Skill & Work Ethic Aren't Taboo), in which applicants agree to work hard at their jobs.
  • At least two references from a boss, teacher or other superior.
  • An essay stating why the applicant thinks he or she should receive the scholarship.
  • Attendance records, if obtainable.
  • A video of the applicant making the case for why they believe they deserve the scholarship.
