Creston M. Sutch, 80, of Blue Bell, PA, died on Nov. 16, 2003.

Mr. Sutch spent more than 50 years in the construction equipment business. He started out with Len Moffitt of Stewart Equipment as a sales representative for Bucks, Northampton and Lehigh counties.

Over the years, Mr. Sutch was a territory representative of Metal Weld Co., in Philadelphia. He was a manufacturer’s representative for the American Hoist and Derrick Co., in Ohio; Lorrain Cranes, Lorain, OH; Westinghouse Air Brake Co.; and P & H Cranes. He was a branch manager for Furnival Machinery.

After Mr. Sutch retired in 1990 from Tramac, he became a consultant for his son Jeffrey, of J.L. Sutch Construction, a small utility contractor in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Mr. Sutch was well respected in the business and over the years he made numerous friends in the industry.

He was the husband of Polly (nee Warrington) and the father of John W., Jeffrey L., Deborah S. Paskill, and David C.

Mr. Sutch also is survived by nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, a brother William R. Sutch, and two sisters, Mary Jane Macchia and Dorothy Douglass.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at St. Dunstan’s Church, 750 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell.
