Construction Equipment Guide

he line of Ingersoll Rand compact equipment attachments has grown with the addition of two new attachments for land preparation and trenching applications.

These trencher and tiller attachments are designed for use on any manufacturer’s skid steer loader or compact track loader.

Tillers

Ingersoll Rand tiller attachments mix compost and other materials into existing soil, making the attachment practical for landscaping applications.

Offset mounting of the attachment allows for tilling alongside buildings, curbs and sidewalks while flexible rotation allows for top-cutting and under-cutting in both travel directions.

Skis on the tiller provide adjustment of the tilling depth up to 6 in. (15.4 cm).

High-flow hydraulics enhance tiller performance, and a direct-drive motor provides maintenance-free operation.

Double-edge, self-sharpening, replaceable tines provide longer tiller operating life.

Two models are available in working widths of 62 and 75.5 in. (157.5 and 191.8 cm).

Trenchers

Eight different Ingersoll Rand trencher attachments are available for digging depths of 3 or 4 ft. (.9 or 1.2 m).

The geometry of the trencher boom increases operator visibility and provides maximum ground engagement.

A choice of manual or hydraulic side-shift models allow trenching to the edge of the trencher frame.

The standard chain style trencher models are practical for medium- to high-production trenching of sand, clay, loam and Class 5 fill material.

The carbide chain style trenchers penetrate frozen soil, rocks and asphalt up to 6 in. (15.2 cm) thick.

A large diameter drive sprocket increases clearance to the carrier, and a grease cylinder provides the ability to adjust chain tension.
