The TS-522 TD screener by IROCK Crushers enables users to produce and sort four finished products and is suitable for medium- to large-scale operations in recycling, sand and gravel and mining applications. The three-deck screener also can be used as a part of a crusher circuit.

IROCK built the TS-522 TD for high productivity. It features extra hopper capacity, class-leading screening area and a high stockpiling capability. It is powered by a 129-hp Caterpillar C4.4 engine and is capable of processing materials at a rate of up to 670 tph (608 t).

In terms of hopper capacity, the 14-ft. (4.2 m)-wide hopper feeder that comes standard on the TS-522 TD is rated to 12 cu. yds. (4.2 m). This extra space accommodates a greater amount of material for higher production rates.

The machine’s ample screening area further contributes to the machine’s high output ratings. With two 22 by 5-ft. (6.7 by 1.5 m) decks, and a 20 by 5-ft. (6 by 1.5 m) bottom deck, the machine has a total screening area of 320 sq. ft. (30 sq m). The decks can be interchanged so customers have more control over end-product size.

Hydraulically folding side conveyors provide high stockpiling heights and capacity, a feature necessary to match the machine’s high output rates. These conveyors can stack up to 16 ft. 8 in. (5 m) on the sides and 16 ft. 2 in. (4.9 m) on the tail, which provides the convenience of running the machine longer before needing to reposition finished material.

In addition to the 129-hp Caterpillar C4.4 engine, the TS-522 TD offers additional heavy-duty add-ons specifically designed for high production rates and extra durability. A vibrating livehead also is an option to accommodate heavier, sticky materials. When running heavy, dirty materials such as recycled concrete, the vibrating livehead can replace the standard grid over the hopper to provide additional screening before the material enters the hopper.

Several options also allow for easy maintenance and portability. While the TS-522 TD comes standard with an attached cord and remote for controlling and maneuvering the screener around a job site, a wireless remote option also is available. Walkways alongside the screeners provide full access to each side of the screen box for ease of maintenance or screen changeouts.
