Jeff Merle, general sales manager of Foley Inc., the Caterpillar dealer in northern New Jersey, Staten Island and Bermuda, recently announced that Troy A. Jackson has accepted the position of heavy construction sales manager. Jackson will replace Ryan Foley, as Foley assumes the position of vice president of customer relations.
Jackson comes to Foley Inc. with expertise as a heavy construction sales representative of Caterpillar for the past seven years, where he achieved success in two district markets: Hartford and Jacksonville.
According to Merle, “The appointment of Troy Jackson and promotion of Ryan Foley is going to take our sales organization to a whole new level. Troy’s unique understanding of Caterpillar, Foley Inc., and our customers will serve him extremely well as heavy construction sales manager.”
In Jackson’s new role as heavy construction sales manager, he will be responsible for all heavy construction transactions. In this position, he will lead the heavy construction sales force and will meet extensively with customers to ensure that the Foley sales force is exceeding customer expectations in responding to their needs and adding value to their business.
