James Siler has joined Montreal-based Major Wire Industries Limited as western territory manager.

With his nine years of experience in the aggregate and mining industries, Siler will work with Major Wire’s dealers in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Utah and Idaho.

For the past two years, Siler was a sales representative of The G. W. Van Keppel Co., a Major Wire dealer, where he sold aggregate-related products in southern Arkansas, Louisiana, northeast Texas and western Mississippi.

He learned the aggregate and mining industries from the ground up while working for Herzog Stone Products in Hatton, AK, for seven years.

“With Jim’s experience on both the producer and dealer side of the aggregate industry, he has a good understanding of what our customers need. He will be able to provide screening solutions through Major Wire’s entire product line, including Flex-Mat 3 High-Performance, Self-Cleaning Screen Cloth,” said Gary Pederson, Major Wire’s vice president, Sales. “Jim will be a great addition to our sales team and we look forward to having him on board.”

Siler said his goal is to work with Major Wire dealers to help provide screening solutions that will improve screening efficiency and reduce production costs for their customers.

“At Major Wire, we are ready and eager to make a difference for our dealers and its customers,” he said.
