J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers, a division of Somerset Welding and Steel Inc., and a manufacturer of dump bodies and trailers, has announced that Chad Bunk and Jason Maline have earned Advanced Certification on International Truck & Engine’s Diamond Logic Builder Software.

J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is the only dump truck manufacturer to have Advanced Logic certified technicians on its staff, according to the company.

This new technology from International allows dump truck body builders to easily integrate the chassis and body electrical systems and accommodates an infinite variety of vehicle configuration options, enabling J&J to create customized electronic features for its customers. Diagnostic capabilities also are built into Diamond Builder Logic software for diagnosing chassis and integrated body equipment controls, reducing troubleshooting and repair times.

Bunk and Maline attended a training program at International’s offices in Chicago where they received classroom training as well as on-the-job training in the company’s manufacturing plant. The course was taught by International’s TEM Development Managers Enrique Pradilla, James Balkonis, and Shekhar Taneia.

Dave Spear, Quality Assurance manager of J&J, said, “We felt it was important to take the time and incur the expense to train Chad and Jason on the latest technology available so we can better serve our customers who want to integrate their International trucks with one of our dump bodies. In the long run, these trucks will provide our customers with higher performance and more functionality.”
