JCB will display and demonstrate the new 1CXT compact backhoe loader at the 2019 GIE+EXPO. The JCB 1CXT has a 60 percent smaller footprint than a full-size backhoe and can be towed between job sites without a Commercial Driver’s License (subject to local regulations).

JCB will exhibit the all-new 1CXT compact backhoe loader, the 18Z-1 mini excavator, and the 3TS-8T teleskid compact track loader and 3TS-8W teleskid skid steer at the 2019 GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky., from Oct. 16 to 18.

In addition to seeing JCB's products at the company's indoor booth (#11204), attendees can operate the machines in JCB's outdoor demonstration arena (#7714D), to gain first-hand understanding of how the JCB's unique, compact machines can boost productivity, efficiency and profits for landscaping professionals. Additionally, attendees who demonstrate a JCB machine will receive a $500 savings voucher to put towards the purchase of any new JCB machine.

"The JCB machines on display at GIE+EXPO are unlike other products on the market. They provide landscaping professionals with the performance, maneuverability and transportability they demand, and innovative capabilities that will help them outperform their competition," said Ashby Graham, general manager of product at JCB North America. "We're looking forward to lots of landscaping pros putting the machines to the test in the JCB demo arena. Once they have a chance to try the machines for themselves, we know they're going to see the potential to transform their business."

The 1CXT compact backhoe loader has a 60 percent smaller footprint than a full-size backhoe loader yet delivers impressive performance for landscaping applications. It is the only tracked backhoe loader in North America — delivering superior climbing capability, pushing power, stability and soft ground performance — and offers loader bucket breakout force up to 5,180 lbf (2,350 kgf) and maximum dig depth of 10 ft. 1 in. (3.08 m), according to the manufacturer. And with a transport weight under 9,600 lb. (4,354 kg), the 1CXT can be towed between job sites without a Commercial Driver's License (subject to local regulations).

The JCB teleskid has a telescopic boom, allowing it to lift higher, reach further and dig deeper. The 3TS-8W wheeled skid steer model has a rated operating capacity of 3,208 lb. and the 3TS-8T compact track loader model has a rated operating capacity of 3,965 lb. Both models offer 13 ft. 3 in. of lift height, 8 ft. of forward reach and a dig depth of 3 ft.

The 18Z-1 is JCB's first zero tailswing machine in the 1-2 ton excavator class, with an operating weight of 3,856 lb. (1,749 kg). It is designed for maximum reliability and durability, with features such as all-steel bodywork and 500-hour greasing intervals to minimize operator burden and reduce downtime.

Available at participating JCB dealers throughout the United States and Canada, JCB offers the following limited-time specials for landscaping professionals:
