John Deere has appointed JESCO’s Emil Pescatore to its dealer marketing board, also known as MARCOM.
MARCOM (Marketing Communications) is a combination of John Deere marketing professionals and John Deere dealer marketing representatives who meet on a monthly basis to discuss marketing strategies and initiatives for both John Deere and John Deere dealers.
“I am honored to be part of this board,” said Pescatore, governmental sales manager of JESCO. “This is another way for JESCO to be a part of John Deere’s marketing efforts and to focus on marketing strategies both locally and nationally.”
Pescatore’s responsibilities include participation in monthly meetings, which discuss feedback and experiences regarding the dealer and John Deere marketing strategies. Members of the board take successful strategies and implement them in their own marketing efforts.
“We are extremely pleased that Emil was named to the John Deere Marketing Board,” said Jon Robustelli, president of JESCO. “Emil is a great asset to our entire organization and continues to make enormous contributions to JESCO’s success.”
Pescatore joined JESCO in December of 2003. He previously served as assistant vice president in the retirement group division at Merrill Lynch, where he worked for more than 5 years. His role as governmental sales manager is to target equipment sales to all governmental agencies such as townships, municipalities and utility companies. Pescatore also is currently managing JESCO’s Mt. Holly dealership in Lumberton, N.J.
