JLG Industries Inc. has introduced its new line of compact telehandlers.
The Model G5-19A has a maximum capacity of 5,000 lbs. (2,268 kg); the maximum capacity for the Model G6-23A is 6,600 lbs. (2,994 kg).
The machines are designed with features for use in a wide variety of applications where compact size and maneuverability are highly valued.
These applications include landscaping, agriculture and general construction.
The JLG Model G5-19A has a lifting height up to 19 ft. (5.8 m) and a forward reach of 10 ft. 4 in. (3.1 m). Features include a cab design for improved operator vision and 140-degree carriage rotation.
A mechanical quick switch enables fast changes from forks to other attachments such as the general-purpose bucket, a digging bucket and a truss boom.
The telehandler is powered by a 100-hp (74.7 kW) Deutz diesel engine, coupled with four-wheel drive, providing 45 percent gradeability.
The telehandler has compact dimensions and three steering modes: four-wheel steering can be used for circle steer, crab steer, or the machine can be steered with the front wheel steering.
Optional accessories include air conditioning, road lights, front and rear cab work lights, and a rotating beacon.
