Eugene Nichols of Southland Equipment, Greer, S.C., studies up on a pair of Terex 6-ton site dumpers of interest. Independent contractors, Kelly Cochran (L), Muscadine, Ala., and Ricky White, Ricky White Construction, Carrollton, Ga., discuss what they plan to bid on. While his customers bid on machines, Sean Jordan, Streamline Financial Services, Atlanta, Ga., works on their machine financing.  A turbo-charged Land Tamer amphibious 8x8 with PTO drive for attachments was available at the auction. A trio of Yanmar T175 compact track loaders were of specific interest to Benny Hamlin (L), CV Farms, Heflin, Ala., and Darryl Fleming, a farmer based in Oxford, Ala. Jeremy Cummings (L) and Coy Holloway, both  of Triple C Construction, Roanoke, Ala., test operate a Bobcat B50.

After a one-week postponement due to the effects of Hurricane Irma, Joey Martin Auctioneers held a tremendously successful onsite and online auction at its site in Carrollton, Ga., on Sept. 21. The sale featured a terrific selection of compact machines as well as support equipment.
