John Waugh, JFW President, Dies

John F. Waugh, 69, passed away peacefully at his home on Dec. 9, 2010. A service was held at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Climax.

Mr. Waugh was president of JFW Equipment and a local farmer. He was actively involved in his community as a member and former president of Red Cross Civitans, as well as a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister, three brothers and daughter, Sandy Waugh Bradshaw.

He is survived by his wife Pat Moser Waugh; children, Debbie Waugh, Tracy Peele (David) and Rod Waugh (Tonya) of Climax, and Sherri Liles (Harold) of Centerville, Ga; son-in-law, Phil Bradshaw of Greensboro; brother, Robert Waugh (Betsy) of Greensboro and sister, Martha Teague (Carlyle) of Raleigh. He also is survived by his grandchildren, Jeremy (Aliceson), Christi and Beth Coble; Shenan, Alex and Nathan Bradshaw; Kennedy Waugh; J. D. Peele; Colby, Morgan and Caroline Liles.
