 Rod Lano, former vice president of Lano Equipment, retired April 1. He is flanked by his longtime customers Gene Hetland (L), Oak Grove, Minn., and “Slim” Glenn Sonsteby of Slims Motor Clinic in Andover, Minn. Lano said, “It’s been a great career, I met a lot of great people whom I will definitely miss.”

Lano Equipment Inc. hosted an open house on March 31 at its Anoka, Minn., location. The event gave guests the opportunity to see and test the equipment including a Doosan DX140LC excavator. The event also featured door prizes including a Toro push mower, which went to Patrick Popehn, Rustic Waters LLC of Andover, Minn.

"Because of our customers, our open House was a success. Lano Equipment Inc. is celebrating 70 years in business this year and we couldn't have done it without all of our commercial and consumer customers or our dedicated employees.
