Officials say a large beam fell onto Interstate 4 in Florida, Oct. 3, as crews were removing it, shutting down traffic in both directions.

The Florida Department of Transportation told local news outlets that the metal structure once used to hang large traffic signs didn't free as easily as expected. It twisted and fell from the crane that was moving it.

Officials say both lanes of I-4 in Orlando reopened by 6:30 a.m.

No one was injured in the accident.
