LBX Company, maker of Link-Belt excavators, has established a subsidiary company, LBX do Brasil, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This expansion into the Brazilian marketplace is part of LBX’s long term strategy of broad U.S., domestic and international growth in the construction, demolition, scrap/material handling and forestry equipment sectors.

“Our equipment is naturally suited to support and sustain the growth of Brazil’s economy and infrastructure development," said Robert Harvell, president of LBX Company. "And by establishing LBX do Brasil, we are also able to better take advantage of opportunities throughout MERCOSUR.”

By the end of 2011, LBX do Brasil’s company headquarters will be established in the State of Sao Paulo. Future plans include the establishment of a parts distribution center and demonstration grounds. The headquarters’ offices will be staffed with sales and product support personnel, who will work with dealers to provide pre- and post-sale support, including financing solutions.
