Leslie Equipment Company, ALLU Group Host Seminar

On July 15th and 16th, more than 40 of the major soil remediation and construction companies attended both classroom and demonstration sessions at Leslie Equipment Company, Cross Lanes, W.Va., training facility.

Ace Wise of CMS Engineering kicked off the seminar with a discussion on the latest technology in soil solidification which was followed by a discussion led by Mardi Ohanessian, president of ALLU Group focusing on Mass Stabilization using the PM/PF System, which is manufactured by ALLU. Dale Mickle, ALLU group sales manager, and Todd Perrine, LEC VP of product support introduced the new D-Series Screening buckets.

A complimentary luncheon was followed by field demonstrations featuring products by ALLU, Vacuworx, and Allied Construction Products. ALLU Group featured the PM/PF System, OilQuick, D and SMH Series screening buckets. Vacuworx featured its RC-10 Pipelifter, and Allied Construction Products featured its BR2518 and IN-Series Hammers.

According to Perrine, the demonstration site was full all afternoon each day as customers waited to view and operate all of the new products offered by Leslie Equipment Company. Cork Peterson, president of Peterson Contracting out of Iowa stated, “I’ve been to a lot of demo shows over the years, but this was one of the best…new information and professionally done.”
