Linder Industrial Machinery Company has expanded its product offerings to include the Allied Construction Products Inc. line as of an agreement between the two companies that began in May.

Allied Construction Products Inc. full product lineup includes: Sandvik and AR Series hydraulic hammers, Ho-Pac vibratory compactor/drivers, Hole-Hog underground piercing tools, Pedestal Breaker System stationary boom systems, Contractor’s Mechanical Grapple demolition and material/waste handling systems, Roto-Cut rotary asphalt cutters and Grip-Lug grouser bars. Linder will be the full service dealer of Allied’s products in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.

In order to familiarize employees with the new products, Linder hosted two sales training sessions for its sales team, one on June 7 in Charlotte, N.C., and the other on June 9 in Plant City, Fla.

Led by Allied’s Frank DiRaimo, the training sessions explained the company history and philosophy of Allied, as well as presented detailed coverage of the products Linder is representing. In all, 36 Linder representatives took part in the training, with 19 attending the event in Charlotte and 17 convening in Plant City.

“Linder believes in the importance of not only a well trained sales staff, but also in the product knowledge required by all employees when a new manufacturing partner is added to our portfolio,” stated Michelle Fain, marketing manager of Linder. “We also have begun a training program for our service and parts teams for these new products to ensure that customers receive the quality support and service for which Linder is known.”

DiRaimo stated, “The training was a success. All of the feedback I received from the Linder employees was positive. They asked a lot of good questions. Everyone is very excited about the future sales possibilities that becoming an Allied vendor offers.”

With 16 locations in key cities throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, Linder also represents Komatsu construction products; Wirtgen milling machines; Vogele pavers; Hamm compaction products; Kleemann crushing products; Genesis demolition and scrap attachments; Exodus scrap handlers, Esco, Hensley and Superior Brooms.
