Construction Equipment Guide

LiuGong’s 816G wheel loader features a Z-bar linkage configuration that offers a smooth, consistent breakout force of up to 12,544 lbs. (5,690 kg) Dump clearance at full height is 7 ft. 11 in. (2.4 m) and static tipping loads are 8,768 lbs. (3,977 kg) straight and 7,419 lbs. (3,365 kg) at a full 38-degree turn.

The 816G’s Tier IV interim, 67.3-hp (50 kW) Yanmar engine is water cooled and protected by a pre-cleaner, dual-stage air filter system. Its two-speed powershift transmission delivers up to 15 mph (24 kmh) travel speed in forward and reverse for quick job site mobility.

The 816G deluxe operator station features an enclosed FOPS/ROPS cab with standard heating and air-conditioning, a fully adjustable suspension seat, and radio with an MP3/USB interface. All loader controls are located on a single lever pilot joystick control.

The 816G comes equipped with a 1.0 cu. yd. (.76 cu m) general-purpose bucket with reversible cutting edge and standard pallet forks. The standard hydraulic quick coupler accommodates optional LiuGong pallet forks and 1.3 cu. yd. (1 cu m) buckets, as well as other aftermarket attachments.

LiuGong’s 835III model has a Cummins six-cylinder, 4-cycle, turbocharged electronically controlled 157 net peak hp (117 kW) engine that produces 23,605 lbs. (10,707 kg) of breakout force to aggressively dig deep and fast into any heap of loose materials.

The 835III’s smooth parallel linkage configuration offers a full 40-degree turn tipping load of 19,621 lbs. (8,900 kg) The ZF 4WG180 4-speed powershift transmission provides travel speeds of up to 26.6 mph (42.8 kmh). Limited slip axles on LiuGong’s 835III tool carrier keep the machine stable while working in slick or rugged ground conditions by transferring power to the wheel(s) with offering the greatest traction.

Daily maintenance and regular servicing is easy with an electronically raised hood. An optional automatic lubrication system protects the 835III’s components during operation and a hydraulic reversible fan clears debris from the engine compartment. The 835III’s air filter alarm system alerts the operator to any problems with a clogged air filter that could lead to increased fuel consumption, engine damage and reduced performance.

Features include fully hydraulic wet-disc brakes, a low brake pressure warning signal, back up alarm, an emergency brake warning system, declutch function system and an optional rearview camera. The tool carrier’s parallel linkage configuration offers enhanced visibility to the bucket edge and surrounding job site. For added digging performance, a Z-bar front end also is available.

The 835III deluxe operator station features an enclosed FOPS/ROPS cab with standard heating and air-conditioning, a fully adjustable suspension seat, an AM/FM radio with MP3 (USB) interface, and offers an optional beverage icebox or warmer. All operator controls are located on a single lever pilot joystick control. Safety features include a rotating beacon, backup alarm and boom hoist cylinder braces.

LiuGong’s 835III wheel loader comes with a 2.5 cu. yd. (1.9 cu m) general-purpose bucket with bolt-on reversible cutting edge. The 835III has a 9 ft. 8 in. (2.9 m) dump clearance to easily load materials into truck beds. The 835III tool carrier’s hydraulic quick coupler provides fast connections to other attachments such as the included 60 in. (152 cm) forks. The 835III’s ride control system allows the operator to move around job sites quickly and smoothly in pick and carry operations as the loader arms float to absorb uneven ground conditions while handling loose materials with minimal spillage. The automatic boom height kick-out circuit bucket-return function ensures fast cycle times.

The largest wheel loader in LiuGong’s stable is the 888III model with a double cylinder Z-bar configuration. The 888III’s massive loader arms and standard ride control systems lifts and moves material with minimal spillage and offers cycle times as low as 12.1 seconds, according to the manufacturer.

Employing a ZF fixed shaft automatic power shift transmission, LiuGong’s 888III wheel loader has four forward speeds topping out at 22.4 mph (36 kmh) and three reverse gears ranging from 4 to 15 mph (6.4 to 24 kmh) for quick job site travel. The 888III wheel loader also features adjustable boom height kick out and bucket return-to-dig functions.

LiuGong’s 888III’s dual pump hydraulic system efficiently utilizes all 350 peak net hp (261 kW) provided by a Cummins six-cylinder, 4-cycle turbocharged water cooled engine. An air pre-cleaner filter system extends the service life of the dual-filter air filter system, and the 888III’s reversible hydraulic fan clears debris from the radiator compartment.

Daily maintenance and scheduled servicing on LiuGong’s 888III loader are easy with the electrically controlled tilt-up engine hood. An automatic lubrication system ensures minimal downtime. Safety features on the 888III model include fully hydraulic wet-disc brakes with standard axle coolers, electronically controlled parking and emergency brakes, and an emergency steering system.

The pressurized, climate controlled cabin with standard air-conditioning, sits on rubber shock absorbing mounts which, along with LiuGong’s ride control system, minimizes operator fatigue.

The hydraulic fan motor is independent from the engine driven cooling system, resulting in a quieter cab. The 888III’s standard tiltable, telescopic steering column and air suspension seat increases operator comfort and a single lever joystick controls the fully automatic transmission and all loader functions.

Options for the 888III wheel loader include a rearview camera, main valve three spool and auxiliary piping, various sized general-purpose buckets, 5.9 cu. yd. (4.5 cu m) quick bucket, 5.0 and 5.2 cu. yd. (3.8 and 3.9 cu m) rock buckets, 28 in. and 53 in. (71 and 134.6 cm) log clamps, and quick coupler.

LiuGong offers these optional attachments: waste handling bucket, spade nose bucket, rock bucket, side dump, 4-in-1 bucket, logging grapple, jib and snowplow.
