From efficient primary scalping to the accurate screening of fine end materials: natural gravel, crushed rock, soil or recycle materials, the new Lokotrack ST272 mobile screen is designed for a wide range of screening applications and feed materials. Its continuous, high-level efficiency is guaranteed by the comprehensive selection of screen media materials available, according to the manufacturer.
The new Lokotrack ST272 mobile screen is built around a heavy-duty design two-deck, two-bearing screen. This high amplitude screen features a screen box of 16 by 5 ft. (4.8 by 1.5 m) in size, providing a screening area of 7.9 sq. yd, (6.6 sq m) per deck.
The screen features forward and reverse operation and the easy interchange of decks, with a nominal screen speed of 850 rpm, a screen stroke of 0.43 in. (1 cm) and working screen angles of 10 to 17 degrees.
With its screen, the standard ST272 unit is capable of producing three classified fractions. The screen accepts feed material of up to 23.6 in, (60 cm).
Lokotrack ST272 can be fed easily with an excavator, wheel loader or conveyor. The feed hopper is equipped with wear resistant liners and hydraulically folding hopper sides. Its robustly built apron feeder lifts the feed material onto the screen and operates through an electrically controlled hydraulic drive.
The ST272 is powered with an environmentally friendly TCD 2013 diesel engine, meeting the latest global emission regulations and generating power of 170 hp (125 kW).
The undersize wing conveyor, middle deck product conveyor and oversize conveyor can be hydraulically folded and remain on board for transport, minimizing costs.
Like other ST Series mobile screens, as a standard feature, the Lokotrack ST272 benefits from the advanced IC300 intelligent control system. IC300 automation provides easy process start-up, real-time screening process steering and fault diagnostics.
Using the interlocking cable, the ST272 can be connected to any other Lokotrack mobile crushing plant or mobile screen for a complete, unmanned crushing and screening process.
The Lokotrack ST272’s transport dimensions are: length 46 ft. 3 in. (14 m), width 9 ft. 10 in. (30 m), height 11 ft. 8 in. (3.6 m) and weight 75,500 lbs. (34,240 kg).
